Serval’s Skin Manager for Forgotten Battles and Pacific Fighters

NOTE FOR UPGRADING
When you are upgrading from a previous version, then the installer will suggest another directory by default.
You can choose to browse for the old installation directory if you like, or let it install to the new directory.
If you install to the new directory, the Skinman.ini file will be left in the old directory. Copy this manually to the new directory and your settings will work as before. If you don’t you have to enter al your manual settings in the Configuration window.

ADDED FEATURES IN VERSION 1.10:

* Ability to gove the progam you own looks. So, you can make skins for the program now
* You can manually enter the directory for Fotgotten Battles and Pacific Fighter. These will overrule the detected directory. Usefull when automatic detection fails or when you have multiple installations of the game.

* In some occasions the gamepath was not detected properly. Fixed
* Thumbs.db will not be included in the ZIP-files you create
* Improved preview code with better zoom options.

ADDED FEATURES IN VERSION 1.02:
* Support for installing Pilotskins, Noseart (PF versions only) and Regiments.
* Function to create missing directories; In Some FB or PF versions directories that are needed to install skins are not present. Since SkinMan does not create them automaticly when installing skins (protection from creating a mess
when there are other reasons why the directory is not found). A special funtion is created that creates those directories. The list of missing directories can be edited in the same window where the list of available aircraft can be edited.
* Skinners can check files to add rather than having the whole content of a directory. Skinman files are allways added automaticly.
* Skinners can save their details in the configuration window. That prevents typing the same information every time.
* When using Manual installation you can select multiple skins and multiply aircraft to install at once. To prevent user error the checkboxes for the selected aircraft are reset. This to prevent that you forget to unselect an aircraft which
will cause later selected skins to be installed there.
* You can choose the view style for the explorer: details, list or icons.
* In the detailed view for the files you can sort on every column you see by clicking on it's header.

ADDED FEATURES IN VERSION 1.01:
* The message after installation of skins tells what the possible encountered problems are
* In the configuration window you can view which paths were found in the registry. If they do not match with the actual path then the Skinmanager will not work properly.

FEATURES IN VERSION 1.00:
* A skinner can pack his skins into a ZIP-file
* A skinner can (should ) add data on how the skins should be installed in FB or PF
* A skinner can add a readme file and some other information like clickable URL
* Anyone can open any ZIP-file with skins preview it and install the skins by just selecting an aircraftname
* If the skinner added the right information installing the skins, installing of all skins in the package will go with just one click!
* Anyone can browse the skins installed in the game by sellecting the aircraft name as known in the game. No more dificulties finding the right directories for your skins!

KNOWN ISSUES IN VERSION 1.20:
* Some BMP-files cannot be displayed in the preview window, even though the thumbnail works.
