I agree with Baron, the lighter color on the fuselage looks like RLM02 but there might well be more than one daker color, it's too hard to tell with that contrast.
Would say!
71/02/65
but also could be 70/71/65 and overpainted with 02
Cheers,
BTW: nice work!

Very nice profile, although the weathering looks a bit too simple and splattery.
Great photo, about the colours, I also doubt the side is RLM71 as it would show up much darker in a photo. Given the pre-war marking style and unusual looks, I think this could be a standard RLM70/71/65 with a patch of 02 added (possibly over the original markings and new markings painted on?). Note how the RLM65 on the wheel door and elevator appear lighter, though this could be due to reflected light from the ground (note the strong sunlight on the wing).

The photo also seems to show the huge wing uppersurface crosses the Luftwaffe adopted in late 1939 (evidently there were 'friendly fire' concerns), You can just see the aft end of the port cross on the lowered flap.
You're right Jim....it is sporting oversize upper wing Balkankreuz. Sharp eyes my friend!![]()
All of a sudden I'm thinking back to old kit boxes again
It looks really nice Helmut.I'd still like to see what it looks like with 02, it sounded interesting.
FAST AND BULBOUS!
ich sehe das immer voller Bewunderung an.
