    Work In Progress

    Thought I'll post my recent works in progress to start a thread in IL2 skinning forum

    Nearly done, only some minor details left.

    Thanks to Serval for the template, Jester for shading techniques and hammer finish layer, Adlabs6 for shader layer and Avirex for reflective layer for bare metal skin.

    The aircraft now look a bit too bright now I think, like they where factory fresh. Especially the green one. Add a bit of weathering and fading of the colors. Ow, and did you draw the logo yourself or is it a scanned image? Just curious...

    Thanks guys, tbh, i havent worked the skins again for several days, hehehe... I'll finish them as soon as i get my mood back lol

    Anyway, about the weathering, you're right Platypus, but that because I havent decide what kind of weathering that I feel right. Ive got only a side profile of this paintscheme, save for some short and undetailed sentences about the camouflage description.

    So it's all guesswork about the camo details...

    About the squadron marking, I made it myself based on the actual color photograph of the F-338 in the museum. Now I know why it looks like a racing skin.
