    Eismeer Fighter... Again :)

    Hello fellow Painters

Freezing in Luxembourgs decaying Summer right now in my site office, so I thought about my pages related to the Ice Fighter of the Jagdgeschwader 5 "Eismeer" and came to the final conclusion in starting to freshen up these pages dealing with the colourfull planes used during 1942 up to 1945

I've started with the "Messerschmitts" and updated the respective page. Have a look and enjoy the over worked paint schemes done with my newly prepared templates. Bf-109 E, F and early G-Models will follow!

    @ Aero_Shodanjo

"Eismeer" is a short german word for the Arctic Sea, because of the Weather conditions in Norway and Scandinavia the Fighter Staff agreed to name the in May 1942 reformed Jagdgeschwader 5 "Eismeer" pointing out that their area of operation is located there.

Also partly they was called "Eism?nner" or "Eismeerj?ger" honouring their fighting not only against the RAF or VVS also against the weather conditions

BTW: Thanks Gentlemen for honouring my efforts !
