Need to Know:, Please and Thanks
Lets say to move an aircraft from FB onto another piece of scenery.
Perhaps a realistic photo cloudscape or something of that nature.
Many artists that have posted their work here are doing it.
I dont know how to do this in photoshop and I sure would like to know pretty quickly as I have a half a dozen ideas that are floating around bouncing off each other and I would really like to get to work.
Thanks in advance

Re: Need to Know:, Please and Thanks
If you have Photoshop or Paintshop Pro all you need to do is copy the plane as a new layer onto what wever back ground you want.

Your Kidding.Thats it?
OK.What tool would you use to copy the aircraft for this kind of a copy? The lasso?
Wow! I was sure that there was more to it.
Thanks,I'll give it a try.

Re: Need to Know:, Please and Thanks
Hi there, I got your PM earlier today but had to attend an online racing event which kept me from replying earlier.
Snake is absolutely right, just use the lasso, cut out the aircraft, and then position it over what ever background you'd like. That's all there is to it. Creativity is the only limit.

Re: Need to Know:, Please and Thanks
Hehe, well I've been doing OK so far. I'm participating in some GTR2 series hosted by SimHQ. The first series is wrapped up already, I believe it was five races @50 minutes each, with a 2 hour endurance race. It was close, but I came out series champion there. The second series is underway now and has eight races I believe, thus far I'm leading in the points, but I'm under heavy fire from some really fast drivers.
SimHQ appears down right now, I'll post some links to the score sheets when they're back online.

Chris im your neighbor here in Nevada, Elko to be precise.
Use the Laso, or there is a way to use the magic wand to highlight the outline of the plane and then just copy and paste, it's actually very simple.
Its h9ow I make alot of my snake skins, good ol copy and paste with the eraser tool
