Re: How can I do that

Well If you want to start this you will need a good working understanding of photoshop and it's tools. Otherwise it's like trying to start flying lessons on a 747, you have to learn the basics first

Re: How can I do that

Indeed, start with the Photoshop online help system (Photoshop Help contnents, or pressing F1 in Photoshop), tooltip popups when you hover on a tool button, and the Photoshop User Manual (the users manual is a really great reference complete with examples) to get a feel for each tool name, and an idea of what it is used for.

From there you can explore a few tutorials on making skins, and you should recognize the tool names as you go. I'd suggest taking some extra time to learn about layers, since they are a big part of the work process.

Of course self study is great, but when you come to a major hurdle, that's where these forums can be handy.

Re: How can I do that

All you need is photoshop. No models are used its all flat 2D work. Have a look at my spitfire post it shows how it all builds up to look 3D.

Or take a look at these animations i made that show the progression of the work...
