    Finally proof Helicopters don't fly
    Earth just pushes them off since they're so ugly.
    The rotor is just a distraction to make people think so.

    Synchronised frame speed with the main rotor makes the blades look like they are static. Very clever.
    I like Serval's answer better though.

    You clearly see that soviet technology is superior to any capitalistic american technology. We have build a helicopter with rotors that do not need to move in order for the helicopter to fly. If the rotors of american helicopters do not move, they will fall out of the sky!!! Our choppers are still able to perfrom aerobatics with stationary rotors. Hah, take that you imperialistic cissies!!!

    I did get that the rotors weren't moving but I wasn't sure why :P It couldn't have any forward speed or maneuverability without them...and I could hear them...but they weren't moving.
    Very strange videos, they DO look like they're not moving

    Hehe! Yep, camera shutter causing that. I don't think I've ever seen such perfect syncro before, the rotor actually appears stopped.
