Hi,

receive exactly the same mail yesterday. Did not answer in any way so far,
but I visit the link. It looks like a business site but under the download section
there are also a lot of wallpapers available. Looks a bit like a private photo gallery to me. Very strange. Can?t imagine the sense.

Maybe I try to contact the guy this weekend.

I get somewhat similar Emails. Every one or two days, there are a handfull people who want to send me an E-card. "Just click this link to view your card"

The counter is now somewhere between 20 and 30 people who want me to send and E-card. Of course I didn't click any of the links. I don't have that many friends

The ecard spam is a known attack. It will try to use javascript or other browser flaws to download a spyware/botnet program if the link is clicked... so don't click it.

I'm also getting dozens of these ecard spams myself.

Hi all.

I haven't posted any skins for many moons or used these forums for quite some time so when I recieved the very same message i naturally felt highly suspicious!

Needless to say, i've made no attempt to reply/contact this guy so would be very interested in if he is genuine or not.

For those who have also received this email, was the wording identical to the original quoted? Just trying to establish if this was a copy paste message or if there was any individualized versions.

I am building a special section just for IL-2 skins and putting up as many original WWII photos and data that I can lay my hands on.



It is taken a lot of work and I’m still working on the overall design.



I wont be putting loads of adds on either.



If you don’t like what I’m doing I will remove the skins but I think you’re be, very happy with the end result.



I have been scanning photos from books and will match the skin with profiles from the numerous books I have.
