After running the gauntlet of Allied escort fighters, he and his Fw-190A-8/R2 are all that remain to intercept the vaunted B-17 and B-24 heavy bomber formations. Numbering twelve strong only minutes before, this lone German pilot and his heavy fighter face long odds as he finds his true targets.

Regardless of the numbers involved against him and knowing the countless number of machine guns surely to be pointed his direction, he continues...
