    Wolf among Sheep

    Hello,

quite some time since I posted a screenie in the forums here

However, some of you might know this one from SSP or simHQ but I think I should post it here as well because the screenshot thread looks rather deserted

Here we go looking at Walter Nowotny's "Kommando Nowotny" Messerschmitt cutting through a B-17 formation

You can find the full version at SSP:

    Thank you mates!

Yeah Jester, kinda too late but well. It's about joy anyways and you.. (or at last I) can't force things sometimes.

    Re: Wolf among Sheep

    And so easily done!

Maybe putting a few steps here:

    1. Straight line in the proper width
    2. Ocean Wave/Glas disortion/ripple
    3. duplicate layer
    4. top layer: slight motion blur roughly in flying direction
    5. top layer: add emboss effects according to your light situation, play with it'S setttings to add some depth and volumina
    5. lower layer: gaussian blur
    6. playing with opacities
    7. merge
    8. Smudge Tool w. medium to low strenght: go over the trail in rotating movements to add some more depth, feather it's borders and brake up too synchronmous shapes

    That's it more or less.

Thanks for that Simplex, I'll have to test that process out just for the fun of it.
