Yeah, that does look good. Nice find Vig![]()
I was introduced to wargaming back in the 1970's through naval wargames played with miniatures (home-made from balsa wood), and the predreadnaught era has ever since then been my favorite. I wrote Oleg a few years back and asked him to consider a Russo-Japanese naval sim to be released on the centennial of the 1905 war, but he wasn't interested. What with how naval sims have sold even more poorly than flight sims of late, I thought I was out of luck until I discovered the DISTANT GUNS site.

Vig! Great to see you joined us here! Welcome!![]()
BTW guys, I'm having a bit of ISP trouble, but I hope to be back online full force soon.
Ok, I'm back online full time now.
For Vig, I saw a game that I wondered if you might be interested in, but didn't know where to find you. It's called NAVYFIELD. Here's the link, in case you haven't see it.

Hi Adlabs, thanks!![]()
That NAVYFIELD game looks interesting. I especially like the look of the ship models - they look like miniatures instead of real ships, very charming and whimsical, like the toy ship token in a MONOPOLY game.![]()
Yea, those do look like minatures. The perspective really does it I think, looking downward like at a table. Some of the shipyard screenshots look like illustrations almost.
Stop hiding Ads and H.H, I can say that yoy're both online![]()
This is the 1st thread in this site with more than 1000 views
