I'd move the shine forward a tad on that spinner of yours BH then stick a fork in it and I disagree, I think the one you did there looks more realistic.
I’ve never been a fan of the darkened upper curve looking as strong as the lower curve, but that again is a personal opinion.

    Same as I say. lol

That is one of the things I don't like as much on the drawing. Your drawing is quite good BH: maybe a mix of the techniques?

Maybe Claes will hire me as his apprentice?

    Interesting,

I found a large 109 by Claes. Looking at Graf's 109 I noticed that the fuselage sides looked flat rather that the teardrop or egg shape that they are; wider at the bottom and more narrow at the top. Claes' 109 is more rounded looking but still doesn't show the shape completely. I'm not sure how it could be done. It's like the sides of the T34 we were talking about a while back. Also notice his spinner could be a bit more rounded.
    I still like it!

The details are certainly finer for sure. At this level it's too close to say one way or another. I do like the subtle way Claes' camouflage is applied.

How about it Jester, can you post one of your 109 at a similar size so we can compare?

Nice work Claes did in the Graf Grislawski book for eagle edition and Bergstroms title...LOvely paintings, following his standards I would say...

I have another adepts for mastering...Do you guys know JaPo? and their FW 190 D-9 work??? I think that the camouflages are superb accurate and profiles finely done...
