My first attempt....

Hi all,

Have given repainting a try and here's the result of my first project, just like to share it with you. Perhaps you might have comments, remarks or suggestions that would improve my skills??

its a good start, although the textures look a little fuzzy. if you ever need any help you can ask us here in the FS category or even at the AGN Textures Site. Nice signature by the way, IRIS F-14 tomcat i believe

I see 337 Miras 'Spook' mascot *Thumbs up*, i know that particular squadron well, i used to live just outside their base till i was 7, then i moved to the UK. good job its also the Phantom 2 logo

Indeed, the IRIS Tomcat, and no, not the Miras badge.., it's the blue cocotte of 8 sqn / 9 wing of the Belgian Air Force. Also comes with a red background, then it's 7 sqn / 9 wing..

Don't know why from certain angles the textures look fuzzy, but I'm happy to learn from you guys !

Fuzziness can be attributed to the MIP MAPS, a tutorial on these can be found in the FS Tutorials section, if you get stuck just ask by phantom 2 logo i meant your avatar image.

Must be blind or something 'cause I can't find the tutorial on these Mips Maps as you refer to.
Do you happen to have a direct link?

I love this avator of mine like I love the Phantom II, also works great on my mobile !
