Its one of those AC that looks better in top view than profile isn't it.
A fair crack at it though c17load, I like to see a bit more contrast myself but thats only IMO. Good job there.
Just wondering what you fellas think, what should I add or do to inprove this profile.
I'd make the a/c darker in general, and I think you should add shading to the wheels, struts and cover panels, which look as they're not part of the a/c. The canopy glazing looks too flat IMO, too.
Keep it up, and keep us posted!![]()
Does this look better, what do yah think
i go away for a few days and someone slips past my radar, looking good though. like the gear door 'Follow us' i presume thats if you find one in the first place?![]()
Thanks, I did gear doors for the 393d Tigers and 13th Grim Reapers, as well as the test bird with the 419 FLTS. Just wondering at what resolution and canvas size do you guys start a project at. I usually start at 80 x 40 inches and 450 res, is this to small. Thanks for the help, any info would be useful.
36000 pixels across? Why 80x40? Do you print them that size?80 x 40 inches and 450 res
Pretty big, My Zeros are 7740 px, and with all the layers it's pretty unmanageable.
Keep in mind the standard print resolution for books or magazines is 300 dpi. The highest I've ever seen requested is 360, Illustrators Showcase. But really it depends on what size you'll print them or view on screen.
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Much better IMHO. What sort of machine can handle 36000 px wide images? Do you own a Cray?![]()
C17Load,
when you deliver your profile to the 13th Grim Reapers, let them know they served well in New Guinea in WW2 in B-25s and A-20Gs - they carry a great tradition !
