Are the markings gray or black? If they're black they'll look more glossy if you can deepen them in the shadow areas.
Do you need to wax it when you're done?

Their a dark blue Almost the colour of ww2 US navy planes but a bit lighter. I never wax planes, the bliss of just renting them for a few hours
