Greetings
Hello everyone,
gpdesigner here, I am new to this forum so bare with me, . .
I am a 3D modeler/artist who is trying to get more into uv mapping, my problem is texturing in photoshop. I am a really good Pshoper for regular graphics and such, but when it comes to doing cool image maps for my meshes, I need tuns of practice and learning. I found your site from a google search and so far I think I am in the right place. I thumbed through some of the image galleries and it seems there is all sorts of art formats going on in here. I am sure there are a fair amount of 3D'ers here so I hope to fit right in.
Anyway . . . .
glad to be here and I hope I can contribute to the community
peace

Re: Greetings
Thanks Jesters-Ink,
I have been poking around the forum a bit to see all the work people are doing. seems this forum is mostly for flight sim designers . . that's cool. I work at an FBO in Montreal,
we have CAE right across the highway, they do a lot of Flight Sim work there . . .
I haven't had a chance to peek into the tutorials section but will poke around a bit more before hand.
I don't do a lot of aircraft modeling, I did a F4u Corsair a while back the quality is poor as it was made when I first started 3d, now a days I mostly do sci-fi modeling . . .

Re: Greetings
Hi GP,
Welcome on this site. This site started out with the goal to offer people who make textures for (flight)sims and games the resources they need. But many of these people also do other kinds of CG, like drawing profiles.
Because of the background of most users here, it's mostly aviation related, but all are welcome here.
So, don't hesitate to show your work, even if it's not aviation related, and do ask your questions. I'm sure people will help you when and where they can.
