    I did't see it at Mildenhall will the Nellis USAF 50th anniversary airshow do? I think I even have a picture of it somewhere the blast diamonds were impressive.

    'shock diamonds' i think the correct term is, yeah always fascinating, i love watching the SR-71 night take off vids, all is dark then you just see these 2 blue cones with them diamonds.... fantastic!

    Matt,

    An update-the X-43 "flew" at Mach 9.8 in November, 2004. The real accomplishment of this project was it displayed positive thrust at that Mach number for an airbreathing scramjet engine.

    IMHO, the guys with the big walnuts were the ones who designed and flew the rocket-powered X-15 to Mach 6.7 over 40 years ago!!

    if i want to scan something i put my camera in macroscopy mode and take 4 overlapping images then photoshop them together, worth it? barely light changes put pay to it

    kind of like Darth Vader very raspy. I think a giant cheese grater and then a dip in tabasco sause topped off with water boarding would be more fitting for me.

    I've added some stuff. It's still a RPV, but it's got markings now, and breathing thingies on the engine pods, and a (little) potato chip camber.
