Sorry, Otter, what is it?
Graeme.
I'm not sure about this. There is so little info out there that I'm guessing on about 60% of what I've done. Any info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Notice the difference between the main gear and the nose gear. That's because the info I have on the nose gear is so blurry I'm not sure what I'm looking at. All just a WIP at the moment pending new info.
Sorry, Otter, what is it?

here you go otter,

i also have a stack of images on disc somewhere, will try to find it this weekend, i know there are works drawing on it (partial)
JMSmith (back by popular demand)
Grubster, that's the CF-105 Avro Arrow...Canada's greatest success and a testament as to how stupid politicians can be. JM, been there along with a dozen other sites. Ya can't post what you don't have. I have the designer's original drawings. Unfortunately they seemed to feel that the landing gear was an unessential part of the aircraft. If it wasn't for Jester, even my rendition of the main gear would look like crap.

Iwas close ... I thought it was a TSR2.
Are you still talking to me?
Otter,
Some worthwhile info is in Jim Winchester's "Concept Aircraft." The art work profile shown there and the photos of 25201 show much "narrower"main lg doors. Did the other ship 25202 have different doors?
Great project Otter
I'm waiting for see your progres on this wanderful aircraft![]()
I don't have that book Vac, so I have nothing to compare it to. The doors are a direct tracing from RL206, the replica at Toronto Aerospace Museum which I understand they went to great pains to ensure absolute authenticity in reproduction. Like I said, I'm making educated guesses on about 60% of the line work and hoping you guys can correct any flaws. So you tell me, is it too large? The photo is from an unknown source.
Yep, it won't go away...the plane that almost...but not quite...![]()
