Some help please.
Being new to skinning I thought it a God Send when I saw Aircraft Markings all ready made and available for download. I must be doing something wrong though. I download the files but instead of a zip file of markings or even a .bmp picture all I get is a .htm file. How do I use an HTML document? When I click on it I get sent to a Simmers Paint Shop screen that tells me to slow down, I must wait 29 seconds to download another file?!
I thought I was following the instructons but I must be screwing something up. No one else seems to have the problem.

Re: Some help please.
Hi there, and welcome to SPS!
The easy way to download the files from the page that lists all of the available downloads, is to simply left (normal) click on the preview image in the far left hand column. Your browser should prompt you to save the file.
Let me know if this works for you. Feel free to post back if you experience difficulties.
Best of luck, and I hope the markings help you with your project!

Re: Some help please.
Please try again.
Click on the image of the file to download, or click the title to go to the page of the file and click the download button there.
Then you shoud get the file.
And yes, we do have download limitations on the site. For people who are new to the site that is a pretty long delay and a pretty low max download per day. Regular people have a bit more easy going limitations.
Just say thanks for that to people who think it is fun to download the largest available file like 200 times a day. Probably in attempt to slow the server or to cause extra costs. We took this measure to keep things available to everyone and keep it as fair as possible.

Re: Some help please.
thaks for the response fellas. I tried again but the same thing happened. The file downloaded as a .htm file. The only difference is this time when I clicked on it, it sent me to a SPS page that said I had to wait 3 seconds to download another file.
I have no clue as to why this is happening.

Re: Some help please.
Okay, looks like I solved the problem. I usually do all my internet stuff while logged in to MSN. The above problems all happened while using my MSN account. I tried it just using Internet Explorer and everything worked fine.
That for trying, I do appreciate it.

Re: Some help please.
Didn't know about this problem. Thanks for reporting.
Makes me think: Download accelerators might cause such problems as well, since the protection might kick in there as well.
