I would take initiative. Let's start a thread with:

P-51 all versions

and if we are satisfied and don't kill each other,

Spitfire " "

Bf-109 " "

F-104 " "

Who think to have the most accurate draw can post an Highres linedrawing and let's contribute to niptick it with all the data each of us can find and compare? I am sure at the end lots of poeple will thanks for this effort and all of us can go to bed sleeping well thinking that the day after they can start a profile without care of the blueprints.....

Some of you just made P-51..GM, JI, Grubby....somone of you would gently open a thread?

Dear all,

I think we are all agreed that it would be useful to swap profiles. And yes, templates would be excellent. Might be worth the site administrator starting a new area where you can upload/ download these. Once displayed, they could be improved and/ or discussed etc. Regardless, most would have to be better than the parlous examples I have worked from. All of us, I am sure, would have separate areas of expertise to contribute. So, for the greater cause !Who will start ?

And I'll also point out guys, that in your UserCP area you can create and join what this forum software calls 'Social Groups'. There is one for profilers here already that is unused so far.

Each member can create their own groups for different topics or goals (such as per aircraft template, etc.), and manage as they see fit. You can upload images and organize them into albums. Send invitations to other members, etc. If this can be of use... it's all right there for each member, ready to go right now.

If you guys run into issues working with these groups or such, just post or contact a staffer, we'll help.

If we're talking of creating an album with line drawings, I think copyright would be an issue for SPS. It would seem wiser to me to create a "request" thread in which anyone could ask for such plans, and we can exchange them by mail between ourselves.

The problem with that is that we wouldn't be nitpicking the drawings of course, just sharing them. I'm open to any other suggestions, though?

I think the gamary's option is interesting, but I think if we want make one accurate draw, we have to see all the draw about the specific subject for take the good part and discard the wrong...
we must find a good compromise

Drawings, drawings, drawings, is like what Smith said . . .loto time. If we pick the winners, we will end up with what should be a really good drawing of the P-51D, but if we pick any duffers, we are about as good as we are now.
