    Re: Another USN bird

I rather like it but I was debating with myself: is that really an airplane or did some Navy puke just stick wing onto a submarine?

You've got some good metal effect. The lower part of the nose glazing needs some rework IMO. It looks a bit odd.

Always a BIG favorite...but somehow I think of it as a Hasagawa kit rather than a real plane
Maybe tone down the weathering some or add some color to the dirt rather than just black/gray?
I'm not sure that the light colored panel lines work as well as they could, let me think about it, I'm not sure what could be done with them.
It's defiantly a good start, and a really NICE looking plane.
(Pay no attention to that submarine comment! )

Thanks ! I agree with the fact that the white parts could be better...but like you I'm not sure what's wrong (suggestions are welcome !)

The neptune surely wasn't the most elegant aircraft ever operated by the USN but i actually think the P2V-5F is ok...the belly radardrome looks better where it is on the -5F than on the -7, i think !

anyway, thanks for the comments...i really appriciate you taking your time to give me some pointers

    thanks
