Hi Guys,
I picked up a commission(!) to do a student pilot's mount as a Christmas present.
Here's the linework.
Grubby.

Wing-tip Sidewinders did cross my mind ...
Gonna 3d it Grubby?
Otter, me thinks your gonna be teaching me this line drawing lark at some point bud!

Immortal Thread Killer par excellence!
Congrats on the commission, im not sure even that could lure me into the realms of GA profiling tho.
The one and only Piper type that I might consider some time is the Enforcer.
Nice line art. Congrats on the commission!![]()
Money is money, GFR! I'll profile elephants if you pay me just peanuts.
He's a collection of spare parts from Mr Pipers' catalogue and a close up of the fin.
I really do work backward compared to most of you guys, don't I.
very interesting subject and great detail Grubby![]()
It's different from my workflow for sure. As I progress in profiling, one of the biggest challenges I have is making sure my template can be easily modified to create minor and also major variants of the type. It's a bit of a "production-oriented" way of doing things I guess. Anyway, your results are fine, so stick to that method.I really do work backward compared to most of you guys, don't I.
BTW, how much do you charge for an 4-year old elephant viewed from starboard?![]()
GF, Really looking great!!BTW, do I remember right--your work flow is from lines in Illustrator to painting in Photoshop??
Good stuff!!![]()
