    Anti-Aliasing Fonts

    ~S~ All,
I'm not new here just new to posting! I'm having some trouble getting smooth text with Photoshop elements. I'm using anti alias but it seems when I apply the outline it gets jagged. Take a look at the screenshot.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Re: Anti-Aliasing Fonts

To me it appears the font is correctly anti-aliased. The jagged result appears to be a limitation of the resolution of the texture itself.

Yep, me too. You're limited by the res of the file unfortunately.

What they said and ... don't worry about it - the game will blur it up a little more anyway

You can if you want to soften it up a bit.
set the brush size to something that fits just outside the black oulined area of the number. And set it to between 5 and 3 opacity.

Or - do them as vectors and mess with feathering, anti-aliasing and stroke size Mmm vectors good ...
