    SdKfz124 - Wespe 1943

    Hi tanks profilers !
    I agree with you, aviation profiles are nice, but tanks profiles are great !!
    Here is my last profile from this weekend (tomorrow, go back to job...)
    All the best to you,

    I still like it on my second look but I have a few suggestions.
    The road wheels and idler blend in with the hull and suspension a bit. Part of it might be the dust/dirt splatter. I'd say add more shadow to the hull area and take out some or most of the splatter and dirt from hull, especially the shadows under the suspension.
    The front section of the drivers compartment could use a little less line and more shading. The line work there flattens it out. The first line is the lift up front hatch, you could darken the line there some and add some shadow aft of it to show it's a separate piece. The second line is a weld, you could do the same nice weld line there as you have on the superstructure armor. The plate between the front hatch and weld line is at an angle, you could lighten that plate some to show it's picking up a little more light.
    Oh, speaking of light, maybe do some shading on the headlight rather than relying on the line work?

    Dig these pictures;

    Some good pictures of the light-

    Really nice all around!

    Thanks a lot fot all your suggestions and the pictures. You are absolutly right for the black lines. This is great ti have such comment, It give me more "distance" with my point of view. The next project is the M22 Locust. I will take in consideration all of your comments ! sure.
    All the best.

    I like it too. In addition to BH's comments, another suggestion I'd make is that everything behind the wheels and track be made darker (more shading/less light). As it is, it doesn't look recessed enough. I don't know whether I'm understandable. It would be a simple mod.

    Really nice Wespe, I especially like the treatment of the camouflage.

    I will echo gamary and BLOWHARD's and add that you may also want to add a little more light and shade to the side, and bring it more in line with the shading seen on the image posted by BH as it looks a little flat (the perennial profilers criticism) sided at present.

    Oh, I agree tank profiles are great too. I must get back to my King Tiger soon, as its progressing even slower than the genuine article did in the Ardenne.
