putting this here for maximum coverage, and it is to do with the spearfish
i have now reinstalled my Photoshop CS2, that gives me 4 drawing programs, PSP7, PSP10 and Illustrator CS3.
now with all these you would think i could do a simple job like making steel hydraulic pipes that are bent at the top and the bottom, found a beautifull way on CS3, but i can't put them on my PSP image
one of you wizzkids out there must know a way for me to do it.

If the layer contains some effects or other CS3 specific processes, you should still be able to simply the layer, or export the final artwork from CS3 to import as a new layer in PSP?
I'm assuming that you are completing the hydraulic pipes drawing in CS3 of course.
hi ablabs,
CS3 is the only program that lets me paint a vertical pipe with gradients and then lets me warp the bends in without deforming the original width, so all i need to do is work out how to export the layer to psp![]()

Are the pipe effects on the layer a 'style' or 'effect' that remains editable? If so, then I doubt that saving a PSD would import correctly into PSP. In that case, you'll need to save the final pipes artwork as a format that will retain high quality, and transparency. PNG can work for this, and since the layer will have been exported as pixel art, PSP should have no problems importing that as a layer.
Just make certain that you have no main background in the exported file, so that the artwork will be surrounded by transparency in the PNG file, and be easier to work with once imported.
