looks almost like a Blenheim Mk IV... nose shape looks blehheim-ish
hi guys,
started another one, got as far as doing the basic shadow and highlights on the fuselage but had to stop whilst i wait for a book to arrive in the next few day, so whilst waiting i started another, here is the basic shadow and highlights, but because of the complex shape it needs a hell of a lot more, see who is the first to identify it
by the way the one i first started is a secret for now![]()

hi guys,
it gets worse, the aircraft was plywood skinned!!! even the rear fuselage that looks fabric, must have been very thin plywood, anyway here is where i have got to, not at all happy with the highlights and shadow.

looks good, it was flat sided and that what yours shows, keep it up JM.
I think you should use a lighter shade of black, to better show your shading.Try it and see if there are any improvements.
hi Matt and GM,
fuselage is curved, only very slightly, see drawing.
as for using a lighter colour, i dare not, see marked profile, i am already using dk grey, if i go lighter i will end up to light with the highlights in place, my first layer is a gradient from the mark back, then next layer is the highlight and shadow to show the curve of the fuselage, then the pain in the but is the next layer, i am not happy with this. front is ok but from canopy back looks wrong.
