    Need Advice for Gimp

I would like to begin skinning aircraft for CFS2. I will like to try the Gimp software. Which version would be best. Which tutorial should I read first. I have never made skins before or used software like this before. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    regards,

    Re: Need Advice for Gimp

Hi, and welcome. The latest version 2.6 is what I would recommend.

We have some Gimp tutorials in our archive, they are good for familiarizing yourself. I don't think we have any CFS2 specific tutorials, however those for other sims cover proceedures and topics common to most sim skinning.

Hope this helps, and feel free to post any questions you may have.

Thanks adlabs6, downloaded the version you recomended. Been busy reading some of the your tutorials. Played with GIMP for an hour just trying to become more informed on how to skin. Your help is appreciated.
