Me 163 Komet and a guessing game

The thread title should give you a hint. I did this today.

Can anybody guess what it is? I need to rework the wing's lighting and shape definition some. Aside from that, it's pretty nearly complete.

Any comments are welcome.

Later on, I'll be starting the Me 163 and showing it here. I just thought I wouldn't create a thread just for this bird.

Also, I'm looking for good scale plans of the He 177. Does anybody have some? I've had a devil of a time finding some and I'm not satisfied with what I currently have. I've ordered Griehl's (and some other co-author, whose name I forget) book on the subject and I hope it will have good info and pics.

It's very nice! I agree it could use a little more volume with the lighting.

I've got some 177 plans somewhere, from a Wydoctwo book-

But I'm not sure where it is. The plans are really nice if I recall. I'll give you a PM if I find them.
Keep in mind Classic is doing a 177 book. That'll be the one to have!

However probably my color filling into his layers made them look worse

Heya Gamary, I've had my eyes glued to anything Me 163 since I was 10 or 11 years old, I could miss the DFW could I?

I did find my drawings but they are what is posted above. Those will work? Or do you want new scans?

Thanks, John. I was just yelling at you in another thread for not having come up with them sooner. I will do the bugger right. At least I will try. They are for a book by Leandoer & Ekholm F?rlag, so I should do them right.

@BH: These should do it but thank you. As for missing the DFS, the Germans painted it so nobody could miss it.
