			Mirroring Text?

Making my first skin and don't know how to write text (plane serial numbers) so it appears to be mirrored. On the skin I'm working on, the left side bmp, must be written to look as if you are observing it in a mirror or it shows incorrectly in the game. Never done this before so any help is appreciated.

thanks,
Mark

I don't find a way to mirror the text in it's default text mode.
What you can do, is type up the segment of text that needs to be mirrored, separate from all other text layers. Then right click on the text layer, and choose "Discard Text Information", which will convert the text to a raster format, like any other paint layer. Now you can use the horizontal or vertical flip tools to mirror it as needed.
Note that once choosing "Discard Text Information", the text on that layer can't be edited using the text tool any longer.

The way I do it is to use the Image>Transform feature to Flip/Rotate the template/skin and then apply the text in the normal manner. This way I don't lose any editing capabilities.
When I'm finished applying the text, I simply reverse the Flip/Rotate commands.
