    WW2 pattern on AMX

    Hello,

this is a HELL of pattern to reproduce . I have hesitated a lot before making this profile with this special schema from 2006.

But at the end it was worth every minute spent on it!

Here is a shot from my friend of Aviopress.com:

molto molto bello (very very nice)

great Job Ugo the camouflage pattern looking wonderful

a small personal observation... the AMI (Italian Air Force) made a big mistake on this commemorative special schema... the R.E.I.'s aircraft camouflage in the WWII was more larger with less mottling...

Indeed Santino. I agree. Thought it's very Macchi 200 looking so far, isn't it?

Anyway, a large white vertical band after the wing would have been even more effective IMHO.

    thanks!

    Hi Ugo!

Great artwork and crazy paint job!

Just one comment. Compare the national marking and the dimensions! Your green circle is too large!

    Cheers, Simon

The camo looks great, though the text under the canopy and on the drop tank seems to 'pop' out a bit too much.

Sure it's larger than the standard roundel: from 1991 it changes to a low visibility standard! see here:

Looks nice, Ugo. Do you know about creating seamless tiles? I should think that for this type of camouflage, it would be very practical and it would not be noticeable IMO.
