An excuse for GM for tha He 177:
"Zamex supplied me with the line drawing!"

Shame on me. Bad, bad Zamex!
But I would swear its the jpeg compression I did it exactly in scale :P

I thought, I couldn't stop to get more accuracy on my own, but I find somebody who pushes the limit so far !

Between us, I see the exciting challenge, but do you think "external customers" will see the EXTRA ? Or we do this for our sole passion, and then there are no limits.

no other excuse will be tolerated.
This is not an excuse, it's a fact. My He 177 is a winter one. So the metal goes cold and contracts a bit.

I can't even blame Zamex, because the plans I used are part his, part others and part mine.

@Zamex: one thing that might need modification on your drawing are the engine exhaust vents. They have a silly shape that is very hard to see on most picture. I suspect Heinkel decided to annoy you and me and created those. ;-) (Maybe the A-6 didn't have such exhausts, I haven't checked. But the earlier versions did from what I could see.)

I'm not worried ... I don't claim my stuff is accurate.
