    Waking up the Wockas

    I'm returning to my favorite subject again now and doing some more Bell 205s and UH-1s for an upcoming magazine article.

    First up is a set of rubber floats for over-water work.

    I think the shadows could be stronger as well as the top fall off darkening, right now it looks a bit flat. but MAN are those things huge! Do they have a big impact on performance?

    Thanks for your comments. I did have the shading stronger, but it was looking very much like aluminium rather than white rubber. I'll have a play.

    I don't know how they affected performance, but I can't imagine they helped much! I know they were only running a few kms out to sea with them, so it's not like they were doing North Sea platform runs. A few of the platforms you can actually see from shore.
