It will soon be over, here are the new er MF's.
Lots of metal ones for no other reason than these are what I could find reasonable photographs of.
I have 3 more to do, then I'm a free man, cept for the other 3 million "unfinished" projects . .

    These too . . .

Jester, I think you have Otter's 109 disease! There must be just as many variants of MiG 21 as there are Bf 109s! It's the AK-47 of the skies.

Outstanding work, they look terrific. Strangely enough, when presentd with so much excellent NM, my favorite is the last camo one.

Funny you should say that Grubby, I was talking to Mjag and Otter about that very same thing last night. Subjects like the MiG-21, Bf109 etc, tend to draw you into their history too. My comment was a long the lines of “I think I could draw MiG-21s for the rest of my life and never go short of examples”. There are enough main types, without touching even the subtypes.

BTW, I was wrong about the Hungarian MiG, I have been passed “A” picture, which clearly shows the underside fin as being green. So my apologies to Kakukk, John and Koen. Make the most of it lads, I still think in the photograph I used, it has been over painted in black/grey.

And another thing, am I the only person to do this???
Since starting the MiGs I have been searching and searching books, internet . . .anything I could lay my hands on for good missile references. Yesterday I went through my own photographs I took 2 years ago and found exactly what I was looking for. Is it an “age” thing, or have I just lost the plot?

Thanks for the encouragement as well lads, please feel free to let me know of any errors too.

Great collection of 21s, Jesters! IAI-304 is my favourite scheme among these.

Last 2 for the MF set, next stop weapons set and then done.
All new lighting for the factory fresh look on 5603, which is of no use what so ever on anything else

There is a very striking MF in JG-1 colours with a sharks face, if anyone has a really good side profile photo of this bird, I'd be very interested in getting a copy
