That's what I meant, it is a different material on the F-104G so it more then likely is on the F-104A too.
Nope. It's metal on the A model. It just happens to be painted in the picture that Jarink posted.
I'm almost 100% sure that de-icing equipment (on the intake) was not installed on A and C model 104's.
British Spraymat electo-thermal heating units were used on the G models, but only at the request of european customers (primarily the Germans).

The difference between Photoshop and Illustrator....no pixels, all vectors. VT excels at this. Files are much smaller too. I think this one could be printed around 6 foot wide without loss of resolution. Good on ya VT!!!
