Re: T-6G Texan Portuguese Air Force
Needs some highlight to the tail. A little shadow along the top might not hurt either, to help define the shape a bit more.

Re: T-6G Texan Portuguese Air Force
I really lik ethe vector layer. I think the shadings need some work. Perhaps try to add the shadings and highlights to a outline verson of the Texan thatīs all grey. add a grey background and when you are satisfied woth the shadings try to remove the outline layer...if the shadings are good you shoudl still be able to make out the shape f the aircraft without the outlines.
This is what i normally do...thereīs many other ways, but the one descriped above have i been sing for a short while and it really works very nicely !

Re: T-6G Texan Portuguese Air Force
Far better ! However i still have some comments:
1. The rudder is almost flat and therefore the shade should be very narrow.
2. im not sure about the nose of the aircraft...could you perhaps post the all grey version (if you have one)..itīs much easier to evaluate the shadings in that way.
3. For your consideration: the higher the gloss paint the narrower should the highlight be. The spinner fx. looks quite flat (the color that is) try to mak ethe highlight more narrow and stronger...I usually make 3 or 4 highlight layers, first is a very fuzzy one, and the next gradually more and more focused.
4. For black areas, try to use a dark grey instead of a totally black...Then you can see the shades and the details
Hope this helps !

Re: T-6G Texan Portuguese Air Force
Itīs getting better. I think the highlights on the front fuselage and nose need some rework. The highlights on the rearfuselage just ahead of the vertical stabilizer have got too bright IMO.
If youīd send me the vector model of teh Texan I ould be happy to show you how i think it should look. Not thereby saying that my work is perfect, but just for inspiration. my e-mail adress is: webmaster@aircraftprofiles.dk
keep up th egood work ?
