A WIP - helicopter NH-90
As I'm working on several topics at the same time, here is a WIP of a NH-90, a special command from "French Navy" itself.

Waiting for your comments.

Good starting. I am not sure about the lighter color. Seems too bright IMHO.
BTW, where did you get the linedrawings?

Re: A WIP - helicopter NH-90
Hard to get the proper color indeed.
Concerning the line drawings, they come from NHI, but I had to change alot of stuff as standard production is very different from original plans.
So as usual, it's a good start to get line drawings, but photos are the only solution to fit reality.

Voilą, this time I take time to draw a static rotor.

Any comment on this hard piece ?

Re: A WIP - helicopter NH-90
This is why I'll never draw a static rotor. I already need several days to draw a simple Tiger Moth, so chopper screws are out of the question...
Nice job.

Re: A WIP - helicopter NH-90
It's not finished. Still working on this extremely hard profile.
I've reworked the colors, but for the NH-90, there are so many details (never drawn a so complicated chopper). I'll add realism to the rotor too (yes it's feasible
).
Usually, I create the background and add shadows. But due to zillion details, I must draw first details, then shadows.
You'll see very very soon changes.
