After looking at Wald's killer Panzer IV and commenting on the road wheels I started wondering how much work would be involved in doing one of my own.
I spent a little over an hour and a half and came up with this-
It still doesn't have as much depth as I wanted.
With another try I think I could improve it and set it up to do the 8 plus wheels so that each would have a difference in rotation, including the hex heads. But it's a load of work, let me tell you! Plus each should receive it's own weathering and chipping paint, rust, mud etc. UGH! Or at least my idea of how I would do it.
(It would probably take me more than a year to do a whole tank like this...oh the pain!)
SO, ALL YOU GREAT PAINTERS, the gauntlet has been thrown down!
Let us see your Panzer IV road wheels!
(See what I end up spending my time off work doing???)

FAST AND BULBOUS!
Just do it during working hours.
BLOWHARD, have you posted any armour here(I kind of doubt I'd forget it) before? I don't recall any. I'd love to see you finish this one, you've done the hard work, you might as well do the other minor details.
I'll give it a go, if you guys post some nice reference images, of cause that will be some time after I recover from tonight's new year debauchery.
