Hooray! for the Transform Each function in Illustrator

Just had a eureka moment. Was not looking forward to individually rotating about 200 screws on a drawing. Came across a not used very often and neglected area of the program (well for me anyway): The Object>Transform function. Just select them all and rotate them around their own individual centre point by a random amount. Just make sure each part of the screw is individually grouped together as one object.

Whaaa??? I'm not addicted to nuffink! (MUST HAVE VECTORS!) I'm as sane and rational as the rest of you. (MUST HAVE VECTORS NOW!) The fact that I get the screaming heebie jeebies whenever I'm deprived of Illustrator for more than two minutes is besides the point. It's my brilliance that counts. Anyone got a spare vector???

    Alas dear John

For we cannot blame you for not understanding the mental and physical bond between man and Adobe software. The lifelong bond, the intertwined consciousness, the convolution of bytes and blood. Only ever known to be severed by either death or a system crash. The extension of our very own hands into the pixel and vectorized digital realm. The brotherhood of Adobe Vector warriors will forever be the one and only true band that loyally understands the power.

    The Adobe power!

Yeah. Let's have another software war. We could even have gangs.

I'm the leader of the "Photoshop Barons", kings of the digital world. Well, since I'm using PS 7.0, I guess I'm an ancient leader, like George Washington or Louis the XIVth.

Although I have yet to use Illustrator, my old lady and I are a house divided on our graphics software....I'm a Photoshop CS3 kinda guy....she's a Jasc PSP9 kinda gal. So, in other words, I'm right and she's wrong

Says it all Wh1skea, says it all mate. I heard Jasc PSP was aimed at the more feminine side of the market. My girlfriend is always pointing out the double page spread advertisements for Jasc PSP to me in her weekly editions of 'Womens Own' and 'Good Housekeeping' magazines.
