Eliments Bannding
Hi All I'm using Photoshop elements yes I know its old.
My question is about "color banding" I have read the info about avoiding it on this site as well as use the Bright tool.
but I still get the banding issue when I add texture weathering to a skin.
if I don't use a texturing layer or a highlight layer I don't get it as bad but still get some the only problem with that is the skin looks very amateurish without the texturing layers it looses its soul.
The skins look great even with the color banding from a slight distance but when looking out the cock pit onto the wings is were it shows and as that's were I fly from I want it to look realistic.
I'm wondering are there any New tools to help with this issue is it because elements is so old would a newer version of Photoshop correct this problem?
Sorry if that was to long winded
Thanks in advance.

Re: Eliments Bannding
Adding some noise might help.
Can you show an example? Then we might be able to give you some direct input.
