Is there any room for non traditional skins?
Hi guys,
I have long since admired all of the wonderful art that goes into the templates for IL2. With all the hard work that has gone into making these true to life adaptations, I saw no reason to try to enter into the world of historically accurate skins. I could not hold a candle to the wonderful work that is already out there and any effort on my part would be amateur in comparison.
That being said, I have been skinning planes for about two years now, utilizing the templates from the likes of Jesters-Ink and Serval as well as the contributions from the other artists out there.
I have been creating some of the nontraditional skins like the ones seen in the various servers with anything from traditional flame paint schemes to automotive inspired color schemes as well as a few goofy ideas as well.
I am very serious about my skinning and I have great respect for any work that one puts into this art form. I have not, however, found a good forum for submitting my skins for download and I am looking to find one if you know of any.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a look at some of my work:

Re: Is there any room for non traditional skins?
Hi Terrapin
We don't host skins, only templates since the makers of skins and profiles are the people we aim for, not people who download and use skins.
I suggest you try M4T.
