    Re: Anyone for Tennis?

I really should stop now. My eyes are watering.

I should probably grow up as well.
Do stop. You're worrying me. But you sure made me laugh.

    Re: Anyone for Tennis?

    Grafiko,

at first blush I was included to describe and draw the adjustable Cinqowrench (five-sided AN-346-T specialist aviation tool) before posting it on this forum. That's what I love about this site - experts galore. The right answer is, no, I have never seen a five-sided nut, and they probably dont exist. BUT, they shore look good on my wheel!

At this stage I like to think that GFR's flat nuts are more contorversial!

    Re: Anyone for Tennis?

Hi Maclaring I agree GFR's nuts are as flat as paper, lol, hope he does not read this as I am a fan of his work, I also noticed one of his nuts is not centered on the base somewhere around 9 0'clock and yes yours do look good!. I think I have a Cinqowrench (five-sided AN-346-T specialist aviation tool) going to have a look, think its in the shed.

Bit of a change to tread, not so far down side of tire. Aligned outer nuts to spokes, slight drop shadow on main nut. Is on smaller ones as well but not as noticeable.

Did tire's in the day have maker markings on them, very hard to see details in available photos? Was going to put them on side of tire. Dun-lop are making spit tires again. However during WW2 i wouldn't have thought they would have bothered with the extra expense.

Thanks for all the concern about my nuts.

I have made some adjustments, hope you find my nuts a little more to your taste now.

    Re: Anyone for Tennis?

I was wondering when you would get around to posting your IV wheel. I meant to mention it earlier but was distracted by all the talk of my nuts.

We should (as a forum) do some type of "group build" sometime. maybe use some of the great line-art that gets posted here from time to time.
