Re: Guess what this will be?
Hi Peter!
I mean the tail rudder and it's geometry and also the tail head!
I will show you when I come home.

Pkassak, I see what Simon is talking about too. I think maybe you are using inaccurate drawings? Can you post the drawing you are using?

Re: Guess what this will be?
I maybe see as well, but does he (and you) refer to my profile of V3 prototype, V2 prototype shown on photo or the A-0 version shown on last profile?

Prototype and A-0 machine used for these profiles. I know no state of art but good enough to show camo...

Re: Guess what this will be?
Hi folks!
I checked the amazing Fw 187 book by Dietmar Hermann and Peter Petrick!
There you will find many pics showing the plane with the right tail and also additional drawings! Tail seems to be the same (V-types and A-Series)
Here to compare: V-1 tail

Re: Guess what this will be?
I don't claim to know anything about the plane or if there were major structural changes between the different versions but the photo Simon posted shows a VERY different fuselage profile besides the differences in the vertical tail and rudder.

Almost no curvature compared to the drawing.
That's why I questioned what drawings your profile is based on. Perhaps they are faulty? Do you have photo showing the curvature on the upper fuselage? It's definitely worth looking into.

Re: Guess what this will be?
Do I have what? Drawings? I might have some small ones but I don't think I have anything reliable.
Another thing to notice, despite the shape of the tail and fuselage, there probably shouldn't be a line separating the vertical tail from the fuselage, it has a smooth fairing. Also the rudder doesn't meet the tail cone at the angle of the cone, it is straight and the cone has a raised area to meet the rudder contour. That is, at least how the posted photo shows it.
