Be kind to explain this to Luftwaffe mechanics who painted every other letter in different font, thank you very much.
Very nice work!
I'm just not sure about your letter style. Doesn't really look like DIN 1451.
Cheers,

Hi Zamex!
You are right! Stupid comment from me. Sorry. Without any photographic references I can't say if the letters are right, but still think that some letters on that profiles look very strange to me.
Can you tell me where I can find refence photographs of these planes?
Cheers,
Hi Baron
here are the photos...:
3U is not visible but here is example of ZG 26 3U coding..

These look very good, I'd like to see a detailed view.
Its funny I started one of these quite some time ago and got all the detail down, and was about to begin the shading process, when I completely lost confidence in the quality of the line-art that I used, and put it to one side.
You would laugh if you knew what it was that made me think that the line-art was wrong.
If I can get over my RLM phobia I'd like to give it another go.
The Twin engined fighters of WWII are probably the most aesthetically pleasing to my eye of all types used during the period, no matter how flawed the concept proved to be.
Apologies for spending more time talking about myself than the 110.![]()
GFR, it is Okay,
I have also always problems with the correct interpretation of RLM colors on subjects that are not matter of my historical research. (Hahaaa, wait when we finish Bf 110 G-2 version in ZG 76 colors)
Ad details...what is your interest? It is not very precisely done I worry like your work...but on small scale and A4 printouts it looks like what we (and publisher) need

Hi Peter!
Thank you for the refence pics! Really funny letters on these planes!
BTW: Check your all black Bf 110. The Spinner was not just black.
Cheers,
Thanks baron, overlooked it![]()
Nothing in particular, Im always interested in seeing other peoples methodology. If its good enough for somebody that (I assume) pays you for your work, then its certainly good enough for me.
I only draw the details that I do because I don't have to work to a publishers deadline, and I have all the time in the world, and can, and often do leave a profile un-finished for months at a time.
There I go again...![]()

Hmm, That si right, publisher pays for the profilesIt covers some articles, so no specific camos are required...usually just a period f time to cover the topic...And mostly it is done line work and shading all in one month...
too less time to do the precise details
isn't it?
