File save?

Hi all, <S>

Kind of new to the paint skiner and I was wondering cause everytime I save and il2 file that I work in bmp it dont apper in the menu when I choose the plane.

So what is the right format for saving is it bmp, 8bit, 16 or 24 bit, for windows and what else should I go to advance settings?

You might consider using BRIGHT for your conversions to run in IL2. Take a look at this article:

maybe you must set the file method in COLOR SCALE before saving it in bmp. anyway the bmp format is 8 bit.
