Glad to help--also, the first P.1127 did not have dihedral in the tailplane.
****er you're right, I only had plans for the Kestrel to use as a basis and that is one of those things that is so obvious I've missed it, will go back and double check the photos I have, thanks for pointing it out Vacajun

At least I'll have no problems when I move on to the Kestrel!![]()
I've been poking at the P1127 but meanwhile based on the P1154-RAF here is the slightly longer P1154-RN.
Still it is 50 years ago today that the P1127 first hovered in tethered flight and now the stupid government is axing the whole Harrier fleet.
A Yankee version
Nice colors on the bare metal!![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Inky, nice metal work!
Here's a few pics to tweak with. Note the horizontal tail of the Kestrel had two sweep angles; and the shapes of the nose tip and tail reaction control assembly. Got more if you need them.
Keep 'em coming!
The problem with these is that there were several minor and major modifications to them during their operational lifetime, I have photos of the kestrels with various different configurations from straight to the kink in the tail, however I cannot pin down the exact dates that they were altered and which airframes.
A couple showing the difference in the tail and the nose
I'm beginning to think that even with all the experts on here a Bf109 would be easier to get right!
