Indeed. Kittens are supposed to be nice and cuddly.

I like cats. One moment they're having a little fun with a fellow animal. By that I mean, the cat is having fun, not the fellow animal, who is being slowly tortured (not too quickly, that would spoil the fun). Just for fun, because the cat probably isn't hungry and the pet food you bought for it is tastier and easier to chew.

Once it's done torturing, it goes home for a cuddle with its master...

Also, the cat is capable of remarkable, even superb, arrogance. It's the only living creature that will look down on you despite the fact that it's about 1/35th of your size/height and that you just found it licking its own arse. Imagine how proud you'd feel if surprised in such a position. (This was rhetorical. If you have been, we don't want to know.)
