No one should allow criticism to stop them from doing aircraft. Criticism is just that and are suggestions which will help you improve. Take it in that vein and don't get your fur ruffled. Pikas does a very credible job. I'm not picking holes in his talent. I'm trying to show him (and all of you really) how very critical proper research is. That's why people like BH, Jester and GFR stand out....because 90% of what you do involves proper research.
Yes...I hereby, undertake to never attempt another Luftwaffe type until Otter completes the definitive series of line-art for every type used in WWII.
As for Japanese and esp British types.
That's the spirit!
There can be no other reason, unless a publisher is paying you a kings ransom.
That happens, right?
Sure I made fortune out of itnonono, we do so because we LIKE it at the first place. Case, when some work gets published is rare, and when it gets paid, is more rare
Actually we did series of US planes for friends book. He publishes it on his own costs, we do get nothing for profiles as well as pal, who does the layout. But the part of information he collected is sucha great historical research, that it HAVE TO BE PUBLISHED
Heh, and if all profilers here would publish and paid their work, how come I always see only Tullis and Sundin profiles in books ?just kidin of coure, I do not intend to hurt Gods
