Otter, are these the colours taken von Monogram Painting Guide? If yes, kick them away. They are old and not the newest knowledge.

Kakukk, use the colour chips published in the 2 Vol. "Luftwaffe Camouflage and Markings, Classic Publication".

Colours RLM 74, RLM 75 and early RLM 76 are well documented.

Or maybe it will confuse things more. You know well my attitude on Luftwaffe colours. They were all over the map on this. If it feels right then go for it. No one can argue with certainty that you're wrong. I've been intently sudying them for the last 40 years, and I'm more confused now than when I was a kid.
    Amen Reverend.

On a side note: isn't everything much simpler when you're a kid?

I correct the rear part highlighting.

    Hello Kakukk,

a very nice Profile of your hand.
Only ... seems to me the rear fuselage above not to be as edgy as you have drawn him.

    Greetings!

do not dismiss out of hand the Monogram stuff,
it was taken from real paint chips, and i challenge anyone to prove them wrong

... yes, and Simon is right.

The wing is also below arched ... so just like on your drawing, the cross bar to be.

Since you really need to make improvements!

Very cool ! I´m not the right person to judge the colors/ paint scheme, but the overall image is really great. Perhaps try and enhance the contrast abit.

I challenge you to prove them right. You make the claim, you prove the point. Science and logics go that way.

Surely you didn't think you could get away with that?

    Re: Focke F8

    right,

now listen all of you, as someone who as been round the block a dozen time when it comes to RLM colour, i have seen all the crazes all the fads, when Ullman produced his work i was the only voice out there not kissing his God like ring, now we are on the lastest fad, erelevent of the correct colours, becuase you will NEVER know for sure what they were, the monogram colours were taken from the real thing, there was no udjustment made for age, bleaching by the sun or anything else.

at the end of the day, you do what YOU think looks right, not all these so called experts, so don't get bogged down with colour, get your contrast right and let everybody else worry about the colour

and GM never ever challenge me, you know i will win, even standing on my head down here
