Avenger/TBM/TBF Radiator Flaps Problem
I've run into a problem with the radiator flaps on the Avenger/TBM/TBF planes. I'm using IMME's marvelous template to make an FAA Avenger and after I add paint when I'm in game the radiator flaps are bright metal over the camo scheme. Using both adlabs panel finder and Nightshifter's panel extension tool I still cannot figure out how to get paint over these flaps. Do I need to take a sample of the paint over the cowl and apply it over the Mechanical's layer where the bright metal texture is?
There must be a simple answer, I just figure this out so I come to you master skinners with my hat in hand.
Any and all help will be appreciated.

Re: Avenger/TBM/TBF Radiator Flaps Problem
Hello Arthur
If you have identified the flap part in the mechanical layer that is bright metal and appearing over your paintscheme, why don't you just remove it from that mech layer, and from the mask if necessary?
Your paintscheme colour should appear then..
To not mess your template too much, you can always cut the part in another layer, hide it and see if it works.. if that is not the solution you can merge again the cut layer with the original mech layer..
I can't find the pictures from the TBF-1 with panel finder that I had made some while ago to check that, but it seems a simple solution ?
Hope this will help
Cheers
