Nice looking linework, Damien. I look forward to seeing these come together. I'm actually Westernising a 1:35 Hind model myself at the moment.
    Keep us poted.

I've just read your Kangaroo build and it's looking awesome! I'm also planning on doing ATE's Super Hinds including the mocked up Mk.V with a new cockpit section reminicent of the Huey Cobra

    Re: My two new projects

Well after an aggrivating afternoon the Kamov is done, and I now have a new found dislike for their rotor system and all the little pics that show it off...

Overall I think she came out quite nice...

    Hi All!

Moving on to blanking up the upgraded Hind, still haven't thought of a name for it beyond that. Here's tonight's work:

Added in the glazing and shaped it (may redo it), added in the cockpit colours plus the associated high and low lights finally I added the high lights and shadows for the rivets which are quite prominent on this aircraft. I also stared working on the shaping and high lighting of the foward fuselage and the fuselage/cabin joint.

Happy more or less so far...

While working on the Hind today Pain.NET had a rare crash on me, during a save...Now I get to restart the Hind because the file is kaput

Woohoo!!! Well I can make it better now...

hmmm, dunno about the rivets. You mentioned they are very markant on this type...
Thus I suggest to use reversed technique as seen on your profile now. Make color overlay on the main rivets to white, which represents reflection, and then the surrounding , which is now white, do as dark...
